Nobody can help you unless you give us more information. For example, the OS (whether it’s a *nix or unix-based system). Check my tutorial on windows login credentials cracking here –> http://keeperhacks.blogspot.com/2012/09/cracking-windows-login-passwords.html. But I’ll repost the tutorial in the forum for easier access to members.

Go start : write cmd and hit enter then
write
net user
then the users of the pc will appear then select one of them and write
net user username_of_the_user *
Then choose a new password for the user you choose.
don’t forgot the *
For the other i am not sure but i think there is booting for that or the vmware or vbox..

Trick 2: Recover Windows 7 password from safe mode

Windows 7 OS has a built-in administrator account that is created during Windows installation, and disable by default. The account has no password in it. You need to enable that account before losing your other admin account password. Or in this tip your built-in administrator account wont appear in the screen.

  1. Start your computer and press “F8” while the computer boots up. Scroll down to “Safe Mode with Command Prompt” with the arrow keys on the keyboard and press “Enter.” Your computer starts in Safe Mode with Command Prompt.

  2. Select the Administrator account that appear in the screen, then enter command prompt. Type: net user XXX 123456 and enter (XXX is the account name which password you need to reset 123456 is the new password), it will show you a message that the command completed successfully.

  3. Restart your computer, then you can log in as XXX with the password 123456. You can go to control Panel to change your account password if necessary.

I dont have a password reset disk and Ive try safe mode, it wont help, what should I do?

I dont find the safe mode !

My pc is a Acer!

When you open the pc start press f8 and continue until a list of options shows up.
Then choose safe mode with networking and press enter.

Man if you have ubuntu you can login to it and mount The C Volume of Windows Directory Partition then go to %sysroot% then rename the setch.exe to cmd.exe and finally reboot to windows 7 login screen then press SHIFT 5 times and you should get full access to Administrator even if you don’t know the Administrator Password and change whatever you want ;)

@Lionz that’s an interesting way of doing it, I’ll have to give that a go.
I use Trinity Rescue Kit to remove a users password or unlock the hidden administrator account, it’s extremely easy to use, it’s a Linux distro so its bootable. Great if you forget yours (i change mine regularly so it happens).

@Lonche00 You wont get a decent answer here (or at least from me), this is the wrong site for those sort of questions/requests, as said by many people already…….. Starting to do my nut in lol

Hey Epster. When you start your computer press f8 and select Safe mode and press Enter.

Once you enter the main menu you will see two accounts one is the administrator
account and other is your account login in the administrator account. Now go to
Start and open control panel. Select User Accounts. Now select your account.
Select Remove The Password, it will ask you are you sure you want to remove the
password? Click on Remove Password. Now Restart your computer and login to your
account without any password. Simple! OK?

Hey Epster.Another way is in the command prompt. Press Win Key+R and type cmd in the Run command box and hit enter to open command prompt. And then type net user in the command prompt and hit Enter. The Command Prompt will show you all accounts on the Windows 7 PC.Type net user aaa 111 the aaa is the locked admin accounts name and 111 is the new password and the press Enter. Now you have successfully created a new password on the locked admin account. Now Type shutdown -r -t 00 and press Enter. Your Windows 7 PC should be rebooted automatically and then you can log in Windows 7 with the new password. OK?

@Anonra your first method only works with Windows XP as the Administrator account is locked as default in Safe Mode on Windows 7 :D and I believe (could be wrong) they will not be able to do your second method as they are not an admin so do not have rights to use the “net user” command.

Well, I havent checked the post above, so I dont know if this is already posted… :S
but if you got acces to an administrator account and youre using windows7
then just open cmd and type net user and hit enter. Next find the account you want to change the password on. Forexample Guest
The next thing you will have to do is to write net user Guest * in the cmd, and it should tell you to set a new password for the account :)
Idk if it helped but I do hope so.
