whats everyones thoughts on windows 8. is it better than 7 because to me it seems dumbed down.

no, windows 8 is the worst OS out there… no wonder its $40 and windows 7 is like $100+. i have windows 8 and i hate it. it’s not very compatible. though i will say that it does restart and turn on fast, but that’s about all that i really like.

i remember i paid $699 for a windows 8 desktop computer and it crashed within 5 days… no virus, no bad programs, nothing… just a random crash… windows 7 is the way to go. but good luck finding someone that still sells it.

I don’t like Windows 8 either, cant stand the user interface, I mean it’s ok for some touch screen devices but not desktops, still you wont catch me using it even if I had a touch screen device. I much prefer android for that.

I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

I don’t like Windows 8 either haha, I think almost no one really does xD. I’d stay at Windows 7 , it’s for sure the best out of the windows series.

Are you kidding me?!?! I want what all of you are smoking.windows 8 is the best OS out there. It’s windows 7 but better advantages. The graphics are dumbed down, but everything else is the opposite. Since it’s built of windows 7, everything that is compatible with 7 is also with 8. And the crashing, it’s called not tasking care of your computer.

Pop3 emails is def not compatible with windows 8. The gui is plain awful as well. I love windows 7 compared to all recent windows products

i agree bert, some video games that i like to play aren’t compatible which i didn’t know till after i bought my computer.

I think windows 8 is created for device with touchscreen. So if you’re not use touchscreen, use windows 7 or windows xp instead.

I just put Windows 8 on my IPAD and it works like a dream lol …..who would have thought it.
