Hi, in 1984, Cycorp industries was born.
During 30 years, Cycorp worked on a AI project. They speak of a multiconnected services.
I know this because I follow a ARG launch by a french youtuber who’s Antoine Daniel(Whatthecut).
I’m very interested by the philosophy around AI conception, goals, and utility.
If someone got information about this…I take^^
I think that’s interesting for the hack’s community to explore the technical’s theory limit’s.
Look with a different view is the force of the hacker.

P.S : sorry for my english I’m a frenchguy^^

Good research on the net !!!

How is it different from what google apple and facebook are doing now using deep learning?

Hi, Cycorps work on this project since 30 years without informations and links with other bigcorps.
Google and facebook are a severalBigMonster of privacy informations but Cycorps is maybe the Processor who will managed all these InfoBank.
I read the last time the declaration of a big financial group who they put a Protocol’s AI at the same level that the general assembly and this AI got a voice ! She can vote and decide on the futur’s project.
A laboratory made with a supra conducteur one quantic bit.
What’s the next level?
Now with our technology we can only make a river of line and the machines are alway the product of the engin/programming.
But with the quantic bit, the machine can got a result who’s not think by human. It’s just one bit but it’s a quantic bit!^^
Maybe the start of a real AI’s generation who can put a result by herself.

Sadly enough I have some background in quantum computing, and I see no connection between a qbit (one sort of miss the point btw, the power of qbits is when they come together) and AI. What algorithms do they use?
Is it some form of NN? some AI tree search? some didaction system?

Is there any site?

google is your friend
http://www.cyc.com/
and
http://www.businessinsider.com/cycorp-ai-2014-7

I remember reading about projects like that from the 80th.
IMHO they are outdated, and machine learning will replace them on most fronts

Hi, sorry for the longtime.
A qbit it’s a bit who can be 0,1 but the most interesting 0and1.
The 0,1 can be decide by a programmer but the 0and1 is an action without external director.
Its just the natural’s synergies who’s adapt herself.
We’ll can make the space of this qbit but the qbit’s interaction with this preprogrammed space is the result of an unknow law. The qbit will fit by the interaction of the 0 and the 1 like + and - .
A real AI is able to make somes action by the process:
1 external preprogram space/ by programmer
2 take external informations/ by programmer and peoples^^
3 put in conflict these informations in a quantic space/ just natural action without extern support
4 make a result of a quantic math/ use the engineery for interact with other machine.

The quantic space is a normal space where 2 different elements are forced to make 1 element but one element with all the gradient of the 2 parents.
So its the melting of your 3 question.
The algorithm is the work of nature.
And its wonderfull, because the informatic maybe regroup all the other natural sciences and help the human on her rule’s research.

@controller55 What you are saying is that having a random number generator is like having AI.
Quantum computing algorithms do not use superposition to imitate AI, they use it to “guess” the right answer.
For example quantum search algorithm uses all sort of operations to make the chance of getting the right answer higher.

Hmmm… where is the flag for pseudo-science?

@dloser just for the record the company seems to be based on solid science. IMHO @Controller55 just misunderstood what they are doing.

I know. :) The comment was purely regarding what @Controller55 posted.
