I must have ran it almost 10 times. It just doesn’t seem to work.

I:

Start tamper
Press submit on flash program
press tamper on hackthis/b3.php/submit (or somthing like that)
change score
submit
wait until works. (Never works!!)

tamper should work, are you sure you are submitting to the right place?
Or submit the right variable?

[justify]Tamper Data doesn’t work anymore for this level. I guess it’s already mentioned on other threads. It used to work in the earlier version on HackThis but not on this one. You will need to find some other way to submit the score. I guess even that is mentioned on the other threads.[/justify]

Yes Tamper Data works fine. But, there is another way around this. And it works with any web-browser (including mobile).
If you need hint, feel free to PM me.

hello somebody could help me, i have the tamper data, but, not the plugin to reed “score 109384 submit” i tried to find the pluggin, but i didn’t find this pluggin, i’m still stuck.

You can complete the level without using Tamper Data as well. If TD is not working for you then try with some other method.

The source code of .swf don’t showed in source code, but for complete this level you don’t need the source code. Just know:

A lot of interactive content on the internet is achieved using Flash. If Flash needs to communicate with a server it does so in exactly the same way a normal page would.

betraying my level of n00biness; you have to click “Submit” in the flash window while Tamper Data is running. Otherwise, you’ll never find the score variable. I must’ve run TD like 10⁷ times before I realized it. Like Rex_Mundi just told me, it can’t capture the data you want to change until you send for it.

Tamper Data isn’t working for me. It has all the other request details but not the Form Data variables. I can see the variable being sent in the network view but TD just doesn’t pick that up for some reason.

I have TD running and when I click on Submit it just picks up the headers and no form data.
If I only select “Forms / XHR Requests” in TD tab in dev tools it doesn’t catch anything.
I don’t see what else could I be missing there.

So just to clear things out for anyone who might have a similar problem on Chrome. This is actually a bug in the plugin. Just use Firefox for that.

Does Tamper data work?
