Hi ,

Everyone it seems that after finishing all levels the site seems to get boring .
I think there should be something new introduced here , like some code banks (where we can get some usefull codes ) , a software dropbox (where any user can upload his/her favourite softs ) and also some decryption , software cracking , patching and some very basic logic levels .

Any one who thinks the same Do post !!!!!!

lol. I was just in the process of u/l a basic custom database file open for the decyphering/cracking.
I was thinking of doing a series of file based cracks (such as used in databases and game save files).

Here’s the first:

Sharing software is probably not the way to go if you want your website to remain on the interwebz. Just sayn'.

Custom/user-created levels is something I’ve been poking flabby with for ages, and I still think it would be cool to see such a feature. However, there are a lot of problems that has to be solved surrounding this, such as how does one secure a site that allows people to upload levels themselves, how would the scoring work, how does one avoid spam and just general bad levels and so on.

This is certainly the way the levels should be heading and work is going on to try and make this a reality. The new version is being made using open source methodologies so anyone can add to the code as well as see how the internals work. This will help greatly in opening up some sort of access to creating custom levels.

The simple addition of new levels is not going to make this site great, the community is. The forum is a good first step but new ideas need to be found to help keep retention and enjoyment. Any ideas are greatly received!

I didn’t finish all the level yet. I spend lots of my time on the forum. Love the community so far. Didn’t take a look on the tuto yet but I love to read documentation about security. It’s not as interactive as the challenge but maybe the community and specially the more advanced could improve this part.

Also, a lot of people are looking for mentor. Maybe it’s the place to give this opportunity.
