Hiya HT, ive just joined allways had an interest in hacking but never knew where to start, well guess ile just jump in and hopefully ile learn something along the way?
got to level 3 with not too much trouble but guess ile have to learn something for level 4 lol well good luck to you all

Welcome to HT! You’ll learn lots of things here, so stick around. Have a look at other challenges, you’ll see a variety of them. But start with MAIN levels like you’re doing. It will give you some basics.
And also, choose a programming language, maybe python, if you want. That will help to learn even more.

A beginner practices until he gets it right, a professional practices until he can’t get it wrong!

Hello @cyberjunky, welcome to the party :)

By now almost everyone know what I think about programming and why I don’t like to suggest a novice to start programming in Python but, recently, during a discussion on this forum someone (dloser) pointed out to me that the important thing is to keep moving (intended as the ability to learn and expand your knowledge by going deep on each topic).

Even though I’m still not 100% sure if I share this way of thinking or not, I think that it should at least be considered, expecially if it is coming from an experienced user, like @dloser is.

So, if you intend to embark on the “programming field”, I highly suggest you to read the above mentioned thread… you can find it here.

Have fun and make sure you understand everything you did before getting to the next level.
