IP
Unfortunately unless you can send a file/script to the remote computer, I cant think of any way of getting their IP Address sorry.

If you have the name of the other computer (and im guessing gotta be on the same network) then open cmd and type “ping <computer_name>”

- Hey I’m an IT guy who can check if you have virus on your computer, just by providing your I.P.
- Hey ! Ah ? hum sure why not, but what is an I.P. ?
- facepalm … explain how to get it ..
and in the end most chances are :
Here is my IP : (choose one) 127.0.0.1 , 192.168.0.1 .
Even if you got that ip, if it’s belongs to a joe public, I doubt you can do anything because of his router, but hopes keep alive heh :p.

just a made up actually but when you see peoples don’t know how to open a mail and getting lost if they don’t have “google” as homepage, I can’t imagine ask them for their ip. Much less pain way would be using like skype and netstat or even the resource monitor haha.
