No, it’s not against the terms on this site or on YouTube. But to prevent from spamming, I only post things that are related to hacking, and very very very little high end IT things. I figure it’s better to help people understand real world cyber security so they can protect their stuff. That away companies and people can’t use fear or ignorants in order to do something (sell something or attack)
Many people who came from this site have sent me a thank you letter or comment for doing this. Sometimes comments even come up on here.
The funny thing is, I found this site and my content tends to have a mutual benefit. I’m finding many of the people who want to learn this stuff do come back to this site. However, I think the only problem with this is I’m pretty much the only one here and most anywhere else that actually does this and interacts on a personal level with each person if possible. In fact, I think this site will take off if it gets a few more people that post text or video how-to videos to help people. (People want this info, but it’s very hard to come by something that looks legit and you can more info that what your just looking for)
As far as putting my YouTube videos on my own stuff. YouTube doesn’t own my videos. In fact, Disney pays me for some of the videos, and they don’t even own them. It’s up to me on what I want to do with the videos, and I hold the copyright to them. But in any case, they don’t care.
Feel free to ask me anything else.
