Hey guys quick question.

I’m on Basic+ Level 3 and running it through mozilla firefox. I can’t see the image being displayed on the challenge due to not having the appropriate plug-in installed. Could you tell me which plug-in i need to see the image? I have downloaded a few and none seem to be working.

I believe you need flash player for this one… what plugins did you install exactly?

I installed something called “Image Preview” and “HTML Validator”

I’m pretty new to all of this.

So man, a suggestion, don’t just install random things… first check on the web if you really need that particular plugin and what it does, then, if unsure, feel free to post here and you’ll find someone glad to help you.

Yeah I removed them once I read into them. I thought the Image Preview would help because, well, I was trying to look at an image it seemed like haha. I’m looking at the flash downloads and none of them look like what I need. Some even have warnings that they might screw up my computer and I’d hate to do that.

What OS are you using?

Edit: and what browser?

Microsoft, and Mozilla.

I’m going to try installing shockwave flash player atm and see if that works.

Good. This is another thread regarding the same problem, you may find it useful:

Got it working. The fix was in the link you provided for Windows 8 users in the last thread. Windows 8 is so odd. Thanks again.

Is Chrome similar to Mozilla with the plug-ins and everything? I only know how to solve that challenge on Mozilla to be honest with you. Never even used Chrome before.

Same exact thing in Chrome man… things are just named a bit differently.
