I have absolutely no idea. It’s not stored in a txt file or the source code. Can someone give me a hint on what to do? o-o

The hint is about excluding search bots. Basically there are 2 ways to do it, and I suggest that you google it

What you are looking for can only be found once on any website: Try using Google translate if your English is bad! Qu'est-ce que vous recherchez ne peut re trouv une fois sur n'importe quel site Web. Why do we have to spoon feed people on here? Can’t you use your brain? Heck it’s not hard to work these out. What can only be used once on any website, not just this site but ANY WEBSITE.

i stil cant wrap my head around this one. ive read and reread the wiki page a dozen times and stil dont understand. i think i get how the bots work now, but i stil dont know how to identify them.

Frustrating but fun imo. I am extremely new to this and figured this would be a good start. It does take a fair amount of work for the rookie, I am surprised and even as ridiculous as it seems proud of myself for getting to level 7 so far. I have been reading the wiki page for a while, I am sure it will sink in eventually. Does anyone have any recommended reading on this site, I kind of jumped right into the levels.

Take a hint from the wiki example given, and do that. It’s not about understanding, it’s about applying what is there to this site. Try it here, try it on every website. To the URL window!

The reason for you getting 404’s is your placement of the “robots.txt”. Think of the slashes between each thing as a door or tier or level of deepness, if you want the robots.txt for the whole site (as there is only one for each site, if I remember correctly) then do you think it should be a little earlier in the URL?

IF you dont do this by your own then search for tips, nothing more. if you watch videos and stufl like that then you are NOTHING :D Trust your brain. better find the answer after few days not in 1 minute from others.
Find robots.txt then read it…its all there.
