Deep web ?

Last time that I’ve been there it was too dark and too deep, I barely managed to get out of it and I can’t really remember the path.
Honestly it’s been a scary experience and I really don’t want to try it again, I’m afraid of darkness.

The access is easy, finding the path to your results is what makes things difficult.
You could use things like TOR, I2P, Freenet, GNUnet(With F2F enabled), Zeronet (Uses Tor), Syndie (Used to publish distributed forums over I2P, Tor and Freenet).
(Warning, they are not as safe as they claim to be.)

Well I used tor to find some websites, at first I was looking for hacking forums but I stumbled across illegall markets and child porn websites. Also when I eventually found a hacking forum my computer switched off and wouldn’t turn on. I managed to fix it but I’m scared of accecsing the dark web again

You need to earn your spot in (Be invited and such formal stuff).

This is why they went to the deep web in the first place.
Just know that you will never be safe from real hackers… OK maybe in Marianas web… But you’d need a quantum computer for that.. :P

“Real Hacker” how would I go about obtaining the skills needed to be one. And I think I’ve earned a spot as I found a way to buy weed using bitcoins not from my account. The guys asking me if I want “harder” stuff. Any suggestions on how I should play this ?

(The hidden forums CAN be legal, most of the hacker forums there show the hacks in great detail, hence they are hidden, so new guys/scriptkiddies can’t use it to cause harm.)
The buying of drugs with online currency IS illegal and it’d be great to remove that comment.
I also don’t enjoy talking about this topic as I am not a fan of drugs (Alcohol is another story, I know it’s officially hard drugs.).

Also it isn’t as if I bought it seeing as it wasn’t my money or my bitcoin account. I guess if someone searched deep enough the only way they could connect me to it is through my ip. And even that is hard to find as I connect with a bridge.

As you’ve seen, easier then you think.

I love answering this, and it proves how stupid news outlets are.

assuming your not trolling with a basic question.
The deep web, dark web, etc is the same. It’s basically any site that doesn’t show up within a public search engineer (google, yahoo, bing, etc)

An example of this is your e-mail, a companies internal site, your banking account.

There is illegal things that can happen, but well within the 98% of it is 100% legal. (oh boy, I broke the law by just checking my bank account.)

As far as your pot question. If you’re in an area that it’s legal to get it. Then I guess you will be OK. But, by just being on the dark web, you are not protected. Any website you go to will collect your IP address and mac address (so it can send the site to it). This means the cops can know where you’re at and the device that you used.
There is ways to mess with your IP and mac address. But, there is no 100% on if the cops in your country can or can’t bypass all of that.

The use and buying of recreational drugs is legal in the netherlands. Which is why the ip im using would show up as one from amsterdam. I dont know exactly how secure it is but would there be a way to test the security or anonymity of the ip ? And also thank you crua9 for your post I found your videos on God mode and dark theme for windows 10 very enjoyable

@crua9**: E-mail and bank accounts are not part of any web. Also, deep/dark web, as used here, does not cover “internal” sites.

What you seem to be talking about is the deep web, the part of the web that are not indexed by search engines. (Search engineer is probably a position at google. ;)) This only covers (parts of) websites on the internet.

The dark web is part of the web that isn’t accessible without additional software (such as Tor). This is mainly part of the deep web, but can definitely be indexed as long as there are references to such sites and the search engine supports it.

Also, MAC addresses are not sent to sites. The MAC of a device in your computer is only known to parties on your local network. The MAC of your modem is only known on the subnetwork of your ISP.

There are, however, more things than just your IP that leak information about you. The only true solution is to know what you are doing (or not doing anything at all). ;)

Also, not all “soft” drugs are legal in the Netherlands.
THC products are legal but shrooms, truffles, etc are not legal anymore.
