i know there are some password removing options.but i need to know the password without removing it.mostly if the computer is login as admin too.in institute i wanna know the password without removingt it.ihope you understand why im asking a stupid question likr this

There will be a way to find a password for a user, although it will be encrypted (not sure what kind of encryption). I read that windows login uses salting and hashing so you may want to look into that.

Im not sure that you can get the password unless you get into it using an exploit then install a keylogger or something similar.

The only possibility is a brute-force attack. You can try ophcrack … but you may not succeed unless the password is easy.

this is true and ophcrack requires a certain set of rainbow tables per os i believe xp,7 etc

You have a few options: kali with a mix of armitage, a brute force attack program, and a keylogger if it can track keys on system boot…good luck getting into mommies admin acount

How about:
1. boot from livecd
2. create a backup of the sam-files
3. reset admin password
4. login as admin
5. plant a backdoor which allows you to later elevate privileges
6. restore the sam-file from your backup

naturally you need physical access to the box and if you f*ck up the backup/restore process, you’re screwed.
