Some web sites have a levels about cracking applications, you can try crack them without do anything illegal.

lol search and read about reverse engineering , then search for “crack me” i think even the first site that is listed is awesome to learn

I agree with dloser that actually taking a key from software that you did not purchase is stealing.

However, if you are willing to learn, there are several places to start. An old site that is still relevant is:

It is a good idea to start with the tutorials and learn. Since this is old, the tools are old, but the methodology is solid.
