Ya, I skip around on it.
Basically the guy hacked Lowes. He and a small group was getting credit cards way back when before they were encrypted. He only stole 6, but he had his software collecting some.
They gave him 30 years in jail because it was marked as a conspiracy, and they can say what you could’ve stolen at that point (which is BS). He got it reduce by helping point out how to keep others from doing what he did.
The important part about this is because he got caught, he still can’t get jobs. His first parole officer actually tried to go to a judge and keep him from using a computer again. Because of that he had to move.
So basically, don’t do stupid stuff like this or these things can happen to you. It’s not like the movies where the FBI or something else comes up to you and ask you for a job.
