What is the purpose of the executable? It doesn’t seem to add anything, except a risk that you are infecting us with shit.

Yeah, but it’s a bit overkill and I’m not in the habit of running random executables.

You could try running it from a separate cmd.exe instead of double clicking it (or whatever you did). If I recall the code correctly, the answer should be:
