This shouldn’t be in “tutorials and articles”. really misleading with that title also

In some web pages you not connect directly with another people. In facebook you connect to the server, so if you analyze the packets of your network you won’t find the ip that you searching.

First of all, why would you want to find a Facebook / whatsapp IP ? I don’t think you’ll do good thing…

If it’s too hard to find packets for whatsapp, why don’t you use search filters ?
For Facebook, as bolofecal said, you won’t find the IP adress that easy, here’s why :

I’m confused on what he is asking for, and why this is under the how-to section of the site.

Anyways, I’m taking the question is 1 of 2 things.

1. How to get someones IP address.

2. How to get someones IP address by a given app.

If it’s the first one, then there is a simple method. I infact have a video on this

If it’s by an app. Obviously above works on that.
But I’m taking it the person wants to find it by the site or whatever itself without injecting anything to trick someone. @Mugiwara27 pretty much answered this.

I wrote this under how-to section because I wanted a tutorial or an explaination about how to do it.
I’ve used some social network because it was the only way that I found to communicate with the ather devices, but I’ve just understood that it isn’t the best way to do it.
