First of all, why would you want to find a Facebook / whatsapp IP ? I don’t think you’ll do good thing…

If it’s too hard to find packets for whatsapp, why don’t you use search filters ?
For Facebook, as bolofecal said, you won’t find the IP adress that easy, here’s why :

Here you can’t get IP by looking to your packet sniffer
You can sniff his IP if and only if there is such a thing :
