Pentesting Illegal?

-1

Hello multi coloured hackers! I wanted to know that if, for example, I were to hack into a website through some random vulnerablility that I found, then reported it immediately to the admin or security or development team, would this be considered illegal?
I heard of things like people exploiting IE11 and Microsoft paid a nice lump of change for descovering it, but is that the case with a lot of websites or business owners?

i was wondering when i would have found another thread of yours.

yes it is illegal and it is up to them thank you or report you to the police. but since for a company is a bad thing being hacked they will probably report you instead of thank you. Also don’t expect a cent from people if you hack them without permission
