I think you’ll have to hack the Windows password while running this VM because I really don’t think you can find the user’s password just with the vmdk file

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘\’‘ at line 1

You “hacked” it, except for the part where you didn’t get it. But what else do you expect to find with the vmdk?

Can’t boot from the USB disk made by Hierensboot. Then I switched to UUkeys and it helped me out to reset windows 7 password in a few minutes.

Hmm
U can’t know a pass (unless u have a keylogger )
U Can only brute force the the pass
But u know brute force is like miracle and miracle dont happen often.

Hmm u can do this
Get a Windows recovery cd boot with it
Get a cmd panel (search how to reset pass using recovery cd cmd on google )

Then open cmd
Type
Net user username *
Change the pass

You will have to reinstall windows. There are some software programs out on the web that may be helpful in trying to recover your password. Like ntpassword, Disk Commander. iseepassword or ophcrack.

you need to prepare an USB drive and DVD to burn a reset disk.

Hm, you can’t know the password without bruteforce with John and RainbowTables.

You can change it or delete it that’s all.

Hiren boot

Configure your VM to change your Boot Priorities, then open Hiren and use Mini XP or Windows 7 Password Changer

It’s scary but just read what’s on your screen.

If my memory is correct, it would only dump the NTLM hash, @micr0n, and so you would by back to cracking.

A tool not listed here is chntpw, it’s included in Kali live CD.

Ophcrack can help you to get the original password I think, however it needs huge database files to work efficiently… It’s easier and quicker to reset it.

Yeah man. Ophcrack should work just fine. lophtcrack is better, but pricey. If you’re just looking to reset the password you can remove it with other tools. Hiren’s, Kon boot, Kali, etc…
