surprising what you can do with notepad is it not?? :)

Tbh Anonra, this site has open’d my eyes in a few ways and realy got my brain ticking - im enjoying myself…lol, thing is, i know im not ‘learning correctly’ thus, i know theres so much more i could learn about the topics iv covered allready. i didnt use notepad for this lvl at 1st, after having a fast look at the next lvl made me come back to this 1 and re-do it useing notepad (was easyer to understand knowing what i was looking for) which taught me, although there are different ways of doing things, for now its best just doing the standard way untill iv learnt more (not to get ahead of myself and/or confuse myself)

also iv noted i was just trying to rattle through the levels, iv since re-done most of them, taking more time to try understand what and how - still finding it confuseing but im deffo learning, so all is well! (with thanks to ppl like urself that take the time to help us noobs - muchus appreciated mate!)

Thanks so much! I have been trying and searching for 30 mins! Finally I made it! :D Lol, this was soo easy, I was like searching using a Hex Editor being advanced, when the user and pass is right in the properties xD.

I dont really understand this level

Pictures can contain extra data known as EXIF most photo viewers have a way to look at this data. That will save a lot of time vs using notepad or a hexeditor as you won’t be wading through a lot of non-human readable data.

@Kurtz well I am new to hacking. i crossed the basic level 4. but i this there are several ways to cross the same level. i mean, each level could be solved in many different ways. so passing levels are not good enough. learning the techniques are important. though i pass basic level 4, can anybody help me to solve it with notepad. i solve it otherwise.

I just found username and comment, but what am I supposed to do ? enter password with spaces ? or not ?

with spaces / without spaces, not a big deal. You can try it yourself Lrtcfr :)

I’m not a hacker and still i found out how to get the username and password….. so if i can, anybody can!! I won’t spoiler this but just google on how to get more info from a picture!!
