Tamper Data plugin for Firefox not working
I have attempted to use Tamper Data, but I have had no success. I know my approach is correct, based of an example video I found where someone used the same solution. For them it worked. I have also tried edit/resend in Firefox Developer, but no success with this route either. Not sure what to do next. Has anyone else had problems with Tamper Data? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Try not to rely on videos for your answers and see if you can solve them on your own :)
I guess you just need an alternate way to edit the data. :)

I didn’t rely on the video for the answer, I relied on the video for a sanity check after too many failed attempts. My steps were the same used in the video. Which means either this solution is no longer acceptable, or the original problem has become more complex since that video was posted. The second case does not seem to apply.
Regarding the other way to alter the data comment, I could only imagine at this point you are suggesting writing html. Fair enough, but I would still very much like to know why Tamper Data is not working for me as it should be.
You shouldn’t have to write any HTML. You just need something to edit the traffic before it leaves your machine (such as a proxy).
Perhaps discussing why Tamper Data doesn’t work if for the solutions section. ;)

But I think we’ve turned this thread into a spam-of-sorts. Ill PM you to keep the convo going.

There is a reason for this as discussed earlier in the thread. :)
Perhaps consider reading through the forum and finding other options to edit the data needed.
