i do not own a apple computer, but from the research that I have done and from what people tell me, it is almost impossible for a apple computer to get a virus. and this is so because the apple OS has an extra level of machine language. but i use windows all the time and i am comfortable with that.

Apple computers are to security stricken, windows computers to glitchy and associated with the nsa to much, but linux is just right. Ask yourself this. Why the military still uses linux and the public uses windows and apple. That should open up doors for you.

Windows is more vulnerable than other operating systems, and Linux/Apple are better.

No. You won’t have a problem with viruses on those operation systems but I wouldn’t say that they are better. Every OS has it’s pros and cons. For example you still can afford a mouse if you chose an Windows Computer ;)

Oh my God, every OS is pretty much as vulnerable as the rest. The only reason why Macs don’t have a major problem is because they are such a small percentage of the market share of all PC’s worldwide. Hackers WANT to infect the most amount of people as possible, so they go for whichever system has the most amount of consumers running it. Linux is mainly used on servers, and because it’s open source, it is difficult to hack. Apple’s OS does have less exploitable bugs per 1000 lines of code then Windows, but it’s still pretty much just as vulnerable. If one wanted to they could write a virus for Macs- it’s just a matter of all the skilled just don’t want to because there is less benefit for them.

I have uses for all 3 Linux, MAC and Windows, but i use Windows More often then the rest. Linux for the explorer in me and because its free :), MAC for Music production, graphics and Videos, Windows for everyday use, and i run BT on VM from Windows. I don’t think there is a champion of the 3, its all down to personal preference and what you need to do a task.
