You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘\’‘ at line 1

I suggest to start reading here: http://www.howtogeek.com/166832/brute-force-attacks-explained-how-all-encryption-is-vulnerable/.

It’s an easy read and should give you some insight in bruteforce as an attack method. Not everything on the page is entirely true in my opinion, but that’s up for discussion.
