Hey !

I registered for about a month. I discovered the site by watching videos on YouTube and I found nice, so here I am.
I hope to learn two three little trick on hacking.

Very nice to have you here Shijin :) !
Please try to get trough all the levels you can, don’t give up and dont just read the Forum right away, of course if a level is to hard read the forum and get help that way :)
I’m still a bit of a noob both on this site aswell as the matrix it self :P
but please feel free to ask me if you need any help :)

Hi Shijin. One doesn’t learn to “hack” by watching videos, however, you can learn some things by watching educational videos. I don’t mean videos that show you what to do without giving you an explanation, I mean full length videos that last for say 40 minutes, giving you full explanation about things. You don’t learn to “hack” by watching the videos, but you can learn how things work by reading and also by watching some educational videos.

When I first joined here, I watched videos to pass the levels. Then I created a new account and completed the levels myself, with trial and error, and help from the forums and private messages. I still haven’t completed the coding levels or found all the blx codes.

Nah, but it’s just that I was hanging on Youtube and I knew “Hack this!” on Youtube :P Of course it is impossible to learn (or very little) on some stuff by hacking videos.

Hello and welcome to HackThis!
I also registered a month ago so I am new too. As other people already told you, try to pass the levels without looking for the answers and spoilers straight away! It gives me such a pleasure when I manage to pass a level on my own without any help. It also makes you think and come up with different solutions to the problems. And when you get stuck, the forum is really useful so you will always find help when needed.
