If i got a rat with and .exe extension, I found a cracked version of chrome crypter 5.7 right now actually but i can say it sucks even more ;)
so any help would be appreciated !

Try Ollydbg, You will screw up the first 200 times, But then you might get it working, Nothing beats a HAND Encrypted Application.

is it like changing the AV detected section with new hex ? :)

not hex exactly, tray chang jumps locations, push stacks …. what ever, just make sure you change to a valid location, some functions may not work, but others might, this also may get what ever undetetable by av

@th3fjong you didn’t submit it to virustotal.com, did you? they submit all the files to the av-manufacturers…

i remember like 12 years ago when i used to fiddle around things like those …
in most cases i only had to hex edit the copyright, author and some few words in an exe to make it undetectable …
things got a bit harder later on, but that might still work for the new viruses that just got added into the av library.

also not that decompressing/compressing viruses with upx or such programs, adding some sort of protection may disable almost any connectivity that the backdoor can do, starting from sending an email and ending with direct/reverse connect.

in some rare cases it can send over lan but nothing more ….
