Unable to change the profile image

Hi,

I am unable to change the profile image. I don’t want Brad Pitt as the profile image and wanted to change it so I tried changing it. Every time I uploaded the image file it shows image uploaded successfully but the image is still the same. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong.

Hmmm… seems so, tried changing it and got the same.

After you change your image logout as sometimes it takes a little while before it changes then log back in again. It should eventually come up with your new picture. Also make sure the pictures are the same size.

To clarify .. the reason images seem to take a while to change is because images are cached on your machine to stop you needing to download the same file every time you load a page. Obviously this causes some problems when you change your image as your browser doesn’t know it needs to download the new file so keeps displaying the old file.

This has been fixed in the new version of the site.

well, been more than 24 hours since image change, the one in the profile changed, but the one 60X60 is not, did clear the cache and clear everything else too…

@ADIGA your image has changed everywhere for me … I can’t explain why it hasn’t changed for you if you’ve cleaned your cache.
