thekinghack,

USB key you mean your flash drives correct? Can you elaborate exactly what happens when you plug in your flash drive. Is the flash drive getting detected by the OS and which OS are using. Would require more details to help.

You can try avira free edition and make sure you install its latest version both anti virus and database.

sorry , ive always the same problem today !! but the computer folders are restored but I notice the virus and it is called config.data and it appears on all USB I connect too! it is that I want to squish. In addition to it, I found a very strange program called TASK HOST WINDOWS I have not installed and I do not control but which slowed down my computer.

thekinghack,

Would you be able to provide a screenshot or the actual file if you can upload it somewhere and provide a link so I can download the file. Also have you checked if there are any hidden files after inserting the flash drive in the usb port. You check this by opening My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View > click on Show all files && uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
