Is there any way spell check could be added to the forums? Maybe even other places like sending messages to people or submitting articles?

Google Chrome has a spell-checker built in. And I’m sure there are addons for firefox that does the same :)

Firefox has one built in, there is a “check my spelling” option in options -> advance -> general. Not sure if it’s selected by default, and I think you also need to install a language pack.
