The operational system has nothing to do with IP Adress, fundamentally.
You can use Tor Browser to hide it and your informations get there encrypted
Also, search for Proxy and VPN
If you want more informations message me bro

Okiedokie, here goes nothing:

So an IP Address (or Internet Protocol Address) is simply a multi-digit identification tag used to keep track of devices on an intranet or internet, such as the Internet, that use the Internet Protocol to communicate. Think of it as a name for a machine. However, there are some rules to how names are assigned:
[] IPv4 follows the rule that all addresses are 32 bits in length.
[
] Current Network (Only used as a source address):
[] 0.0.0.0/8
[
] Private Networks:
[] 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
[
] 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255

192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
[] Multicast Networks:
[
] 224.0.0.0 - 239.255.255.255
[] Broadcast ( sent through all available targeted nets ):
[
] 255.255.255.255

These are just the main ones, however more on this subject can be found here. As far as changing your IP, it depends on the task you’re trying to accomplish, as changing your IP on a local private network will be different from trying to spoof your IP across the Internet.

I’d spend more time writing about this subject, but any more and I’ll start getting into subnets and IPv6, which should be issued in an article. ;)
