The idea is simple,
a weekly challenge that starts on monday and ends 7 days later on sunday.
it could be any of 2 ways.
1- code a script/program that would do ….. for the input of ….
where the website provides the input, then the user posts the output, if the output is correct he could then post the source code for review (if its not possible to review all submitted codes a random sample can be taken), this would make those who cheat with a ready script/online tool/ exisiting program go away or of cought cheating some points can be deducted from whah he already has.
2- fix a script (php,perl,asp) or any scripting language, where the script is given with logical errors (not source code errors), and the memebers should post the fixed script back, an output of what the script should do can be provided to make sure that the member got it right, also the script fix must not use any extra functions nor make the script larger than it already is.
