Well it’s quite simple, you start by eating human people. It’s probably the most difficult part, especially at first, but keep trying and you’ll eventually get used to it; after that you need a mentor, of course; TheClassyAsshat is a good guy even though he tried to eat me once while I was still learning, and BlueHat is a nice chick. Be sure to find some Hat around, because hats is what you need to fly, they connect to your brain and you operate them with your mind. Now if you want to be a real alien, the REAL SHIT you know, [s]tell me how to solve Intermediate 4[/s] just do what you did on one of the first levels.

Haha, as I said on the post, [s]I don’t care if I don’t solve the level[/s] I’m learning quite a lot while doing research for it. Also I’m coming up with funny ways to make it not work but display the correct message. It’s fun. xD So while solving the level is there as a goal (I’ve spent days and days) (not so many), I don’t feel like I’m wasting my time. I love challenges.

And I guess this has gone way off-off-topic now. xD

Fair enough. I’m in between jobs atm, and thus have decided rather than spending my ‘free time’ writing games in Python, I can use this time to learn something a little more challenging. Love it :)

its never too late to learn, for me, every day (that i have spare time in) that i learn nothing new, its a wasted day…
one day may not be alot of time, but you still can learn something in it.
for me if i hade few hours i do some reading on computer relatred issues, if not i just watch any documentary i can find on youtube.

Yeah, I always try to learn something (old + new) to solve these HackThis levels when I’m free. It’s great to realize that your knowledge increases everday. xD

I try to learn something new everyday too ,sitting in front of the tv all day never made sense , i read about computers and cameras, programming and photography mostly , but some string theory and genetics never hurts :) Ironically people who complain about life usually sit on Facebook or the tv and don’t know why they know nothing . (Even if you learn every day, you still need some my little pony in your life thou .)

i understand what u said adiga !!! , actually i use my sleep time to learn . i have reduced it to learn more new things . but now exams are closing in so that time is also reserved for PCM and c++ .

good luck with that, even though c++ is one of the best programming languages to learn, and i do know how to program with it, i try no to, nor like to.
too strict of a language.

c++ is part of my subjects . so i have to study it but yes it is my first programming language

I remember I did one in pseudocode, with all the definitions on top… damn that took time to do.

i do not keep any old scripts/programs i written more than 2-3 months before.
that is for 2 reasons.
1- i will not understand or be able to trace the code (no comments what so ever)
2- if its something im learning ill go “who the fucktard who wrote this!”
