can't ping hackthis

Hello,
I already did this level. BUT as I was trying to do it again now (a couple of months apart), it seems that I’m not able to ping www.hackthis.co.uk.
Side note: I can ping google.

I’m thankful for every answer!

I try me to but I have a symilary probleme. Sorry I can’t help you, maybe an another person can help you .

When you ping to particular host it will send ICMP package to server. The server has been configured not to respond to ICMP package.

You can still ping the server if you use any other type of packet like TCP, UDP etc

By the way you can use nping for sending different type of packets :)

+1 indeed! Sooo many things to try… thanks for the hint shubhampatel, I didn’t know about different packages and had a look at it, I have a lot to learn! :D
