OpenVAS Custom Scan Help?

Hi, I’m trying to run custom scans against a Metasploitable 2 VM. Every time I try one, it runs for about a minute then says “100%” with “N/A” under severity. The built in scans work perfectly, going on for about 5 minutes or more and always returning vulnerabilities. Does anyone know how to fix this? I followed the instructions here to install:
