You can clear your browser cache and then access HT!! and check usually then the new pic shows up in your profile.

I used different browsers to see if it would make a difference, but no. I haven’t cleared the cache, I’ll give that a try.

the caching is server side in this case i would guess, so it will not help you alot to clear your cache.

Yeah you’re right, didn’t help much. It’s ok though, it’s not that important. :)

ColdDaVinci: What is the dimension of the pic that you are using?

Dimensions: 259 x 194

My guess is that it’s too large?

ColdDaVinci: Would it be possible for you to make it 150x150 in dimension and then upload it and check.

Must the image be precisely 150x150? I didn’t manage to get those dimensions, instead they are now: 150x112.

Edit: Got the image to be 150x150 now. :D

i would not think it has to do with dimensions, if it was too large or too big in size you will get an error for that.
just sleep on it, it will change sometime during the next 24 hours, if it did not, PM flabby with this issue.

ColdDaVinci: Which software are you using. In windows if you are using mspaint (Windows 7) (Ctrl + w is the shortcut key and select pixel instead of percentage) then you need to uncheck that maintain aspect ratio something in that way you can keep the dimensions as 150x150 and in Ubuntu its the same option I guess that I saw in Pinta.

Yeah, I waited quite a while for the image to change, and it didn’t. I may PM Flabby. And yes, tlotr, I used MSpaint and unchecked the maintain aspect box, thank you. :)

ColdDaVinci: One last thing you can check is changing the file format of the pic to .png if it is already .png then you can change it to .jpg and then check.

PS: You might have done this already.

Actually, my profile image is 256x256 so don’t worry about dimensions.
