I Hate Signatures.
If you make people think they’re thinking, they’ll love you. but if you really make them think, they’ll hate you.
~ Harlan Ellison
Of course you’re included as well, friend! Christmas represents joy and friendship and love as well as its religious aspect (I am pretty non-religious myself). In my language, the name for Christmas isn’t even directly related to Christ.
Merry Christmas! :D

Christmas was originally the pagan celebration of the winter solstice and worship to the sun god but the Romans, since newly introduced to Christianity, decided to replace the holiday with something more significant and orthodox to break away from their pagan culture. Thus they replaced it with the birth of Christ, which in fact happened a month or two prior to when we actually celebrate it. So technically @Fireshard Christmas is the celebration of Christs birth, but whether or not you believe in Christianity you could look at it from this point. Jesus was a great man who taught a lot of great things and had very strong values like. You can think of it like Martin Luther King Jr. , Buddha, Aristotle, Rosa Parks, etc.
I personally am a Christian and believe in Jesus as the son of God but I have a weird way of how I believe. Not only do I just believe what the bible says but that whether you’re Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or whatever, we all worship the same God in a different way and that all of our stories intertwine and we are all brothers and sisters of the almighty lord and should hold hands instead of fight because God loves all of his children. As for if you don’t believe in Christ and his is the son of God, God is a forgiving God and will understand. But, if Jesus isn’t the son of God and we worship him I believe God will understand since all of it is tradition. Whether the circumstances, I believe that God loves us and will forgive us no matter what since he understands that tradition is embedded into our heads and makes it hard for us. Since there is so much in the world it’s impossible to be perfect and we will never be perfect which is what makes us human. As for people who have never been introduced to religion I think God will understand and has spoken to them in a way in which they understand.
The only thing we can do to please our God, Allah, and that we know for sure in our hearts is that we shouldn’t condemn, hate, hurt, murder, and curse each other since that is all of the Devil, or Iblis. We should love, sing, and unite with each other hence our subtle differences. God will speak to us in a way that we will understand and he can use us. Saying this, the way our mothers, fathers, priests, imams, monks, etc. speak the word of God to us doesn’t matter. God spoke to them in a way that is special to them. It is their job to guide and teach us but ultimately our creator will give us the path and truth so he can use us. Like any prophet he will speak to us guiding us through life in mysterious ways. Whether it’s in a burning bush, the middle of the desert, mentally, or in our hearts.
I hope I didn’t say anything to harm or hurt anyone or upset anyone. Just wanted to share some wisdom and a belief I have come across in my life. I thought I’d just share. I have many friends from the Middle East @ADIGA and they are some of the coolest people I have met in life and have had many conversations online via Video Chat and Facebook that have enlightened us all. Yes even if you’re Islam Merry Christmas to you. I have many friends who are of all different religions.
I just think if we all understand this and unite we can find peace, destroy evil, and bring this wonderful world back to our God!
Just something I believe! :)
Merry Christmas Everyone and Happy Hacking! ;) lol
