Theme changer? | Defend the Web

Just got a new TV and it doesn’t handle the blacks as well as i thought it would (using tv screen as comp monitor atm). This lead me on to think that a theme changer would be nice. I.e. to change the colors of the website such as the background and the text.

It could be done fairly easily if there were set themes to choose from i guess. Or someone could make a chrome plugin for it.

I like this suggestion, although I must say I enjoy the current colors :D

I suppose it’s as easy as using different CSS files, selectable via some php / javascript so it shouldn’t take much work…
With a little work, you could make all colors customizable (is this a word? it keeps getting underlined), since there’s basically 5 colors used throughout the whole site (black, white, green, red and a shade of gray at the moment).

It’s mainly to provide the user more choice in the overall theme of the site. People like it when they have a feeling of control :P

If you want to create a theme, you can use Stylish for Chrome (or Firefox) and customize the css for hackthis (and even share this theme if you feel like so).
