I’m getting closer and closer to 1000th but still not it, I lost the passion I had at first, to look for medals :p

Forum medals are something different, it’s not a simple thing, you have to be active and to post a loooot to get it. It’ll come with time :)

lol even I, don’t have the helper medal even tho I’ve probably been of a good help for this website :p

I always feel like I must answer everyone questions and help them out
But when I come back from a little inactivity, I often find myself with a loooot of work

And sooo, by answering and helping people, you’re helping me as well :)
But not only that, when you guys flag problematic posts, you’re doing 50% of my forum moderating work :p

I’m glad to help you, but it seems it is a bit wide shooting itself in the foot. When you delete these postings then you are also resetting the post-counter. This could be demotivating and might lead to comment but not to flag.

@feuerstein I’m not sure I correctly understood your point, are you talking about the posts such as “please delete this spoiler” that Mugi deletes once the offensive post has been deleted? If so, I disagree, it is normal for those posts to be deleted, as the goal is to keep the forum clean and not to ensure everyone gets their forum medal. The post counter should only apply to constructive posts, neither to spam, spoil, or any misplaced post, nor to response to such posts. It also ensure that you can’t get the forum medals by posting 500 spam messages and then a few good one. Not sure if the medals would be taken back if someone gets them by spamming.

Oh I wrote it a bit too thin so you got me wrong. Sometimes you flag a post and the whole thread is deleted even when constructive posts are in. Maybe I’ve written that out of a mood, not really sophisticated. So we have some more posts now that could be deleted again ;)

You guys should do like dloser do, he doesn’t comment on spam post but he flag them, so I only have to delete 1 post and not 2 :) (we should have a medal for the good flagging lol)
