Just a question which im really burning inside to find out. How do security experts find vulnerabilities in systems and networks (but mainly systems) and fix them? Where do they usually start? What do they know which normal people don’t know. How does it really begin? Im really “googling” everywhere but no info on anything. Could you guys just explain to me about this? thanks a ton for all your help!

Read up on CEH certificates. There are several steps that are usually proceeded with:
[]1. Information gathering
[
]2. Network discovery
[]3. Enumeration
[
]4. Vulnerability assessment
[]5. Exploitation and security
[
]6. Post exploitation
So which means its about learning how everything works and then taking the system apart. So its not about what kind of programming language you use to find the vulnerabilities right? So in the sense if you use Python or C both won’t make a difference right ? because its just a tool. Is C a good point for learning computer security or python ? thanks real noob here :)

C is a core language and Python is kinda more straightforward. If you learn C, others will be comparatively easy to grasp afterwards (with the exception of ASM). Depending on what system you’re performing your pentest, languages differ - i.e. if you’re after a web application, you should consider scripting languages.

Why have to think too much? Sooner or later, you will surely meet most of them again.
