Break up the script tag, literally.

To break it up, try putting two more tags in it.

Okay, so I tried following what you said… literally.

I used &lt and &gt to surround the script and /script

But, I am not having any luck. I don’t know what I’m missing. It displays the same text, and I could even get it to look the same but I can;t pass the level. What am I missing here?

Seriously lost now??? I have played with << etc and then tried the following php code to emulate the filter - getting the exact text required shown in both methods?
<?php
/ a string with tags /
$string = “&#60script&#62alert(‘HackThis!!’)\;&#60/script&#62”;
/ sanitize the string /
echo filter_var($string, FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING);

?>

I get the result in both ways, my last effort being as above.
Help???
Am I looking in the right direction???
