Hmm… as far as I understood your question you want to see the code (source). So if that is the question then you can just try to open the class file in notepad or any other text editor. ?

So the answer is a no. I don’t think its possible to read the .class file contents as it is the java byte code which is for the compiler to understand the program and not made for human reading.

Okay its not impossible to read it in a text editor, you can still see and understand the programme in that form. Give a try to Notepad++ .

Did he want you to write your own decompiler (or read about the java byte coding) or did he have a completely different approach?
