Turkey blocks YouTube days after Twitter crackdown
(CNN) – The Turkish government banned YouTube on Thursday, less than a week after Ankara made a similar blackout of the social networking site Twitter, which is estimated to have more than 10 million Turkish users.
Neither website can be reached on Turkish Internet networks. The crackdown comes just days before Turks are expected to go to the polls in nationwide municipal elections.

The Mentor was never a part of this site dfalcon. This site was created in 2008, and time this was written was 1986, so obviously he wouldn’t be here.
You can read about The Mentor yourself
The old version was the original (maybe I forget), but then flabby rewrote a better version of the site and the “new” version came online on November 5, 2013.

Read the news, you will know all about what happened to it. Now we should stop these spam posts. But mainly Blx was taken out because he wanted to simplify the code for the site

https://www.hackthis.co.uk/news/basic-level-x-is-dead
But seriously guys , I really wanted to try the Basic X level !! I’ve heard that they were cool !!
They were very cool, 7 different codes scattered all over the place, some in really obvious places, others in the most obscure places that I don’t even know how to get to now. It was certainly fun working on them with other people too
I wish I had seen them.
Flabby should reintroduce them in the new site .
Lets just leave this here….we are getting too off-topic !!
Yes , I could fairly speculate the problems. But it can be much more than my thoughts. Maybe that’s why flabby removed them !!!
Ok guys if ya’ll wanna talk about BLX the open a new thread or post/read in some older threads! Yes it was a real crooked level. :p

Awesome. I love it. Over all the years, a true hackers spirit is no different than described here.
What the turkish government does is awful. My dad lives in Turkey and I go there every summer. Everyone keeps whisering that one should keep his voices about critique of the government low because “walls have ears”. Its almost like a police state.
What! Walls have ears , thats too much of voilation of freedom of speech. Turkey being a democratic carries such communist tasks that bad.

It is… well, officially. Thanks to Ataturk, Turkey became a democracy during/after second world war. But our nice premier minister (the guy that starts with E*) is slowly turning it into a conservative islamistic country. Im scared that my original home country will become like Syria or something.
Life is difficult there. Two completely different societies live next to each other, but not together.
The modern ones like us and the.. uhm… lets say, uneducated people. and unfortunately, we (the modern turkish people) seem to be a minority. :/
But then again, those elections may very likely be fake. I believe they are.
Wich two societies are you talkin about @JavaMistress ??
The democratic ones and the islamistic-conservative ones.
I am not saying that every Muslim is bad, but I’m saying that in Turkey there are a lot of uneducated people that can’t separate religion from government and humanrights - Erdo?an being one of them. He never directly says it, but I think that he wants to build a reign like the system described in the Qu'ran..
@JavaMistress don’t worry about it. What you said was fine. @hackingninja is just an idiot.
