What do you think about Yacy P2P Search?

Interesting at first glance, but the questions came as soon as I saw the “Live image of the ‘freeworld’ network”. So after all they do monitor you? Whatever this ‘image’ depicts, it’s built on some intelligence.

I think that will not be very safe to use it, P2P is very used to give viruses..

@Elhitch: thats true, this is intresting, but i think there can grab many data from the local device, i think i will learn java and look at the source, to learn what the program does

@paulau: Viruses, i dont know. I think the server downloads just textfiles for indexing the web, for better search results. I think its a heaven for spammers to indexing here advertisings and make a lote of money :D
