Tamper Data not working? | Defend the Web

Im using tamper data, yet every time I tamper with the submit and change the score value, it does not give me AC. How did you guys do it with tamper data? I’m pretty sure my method should work…

As it has been mentioned in another thread the tamper data method doesn’t work anymore, you have to use another method.

TamperData is in BlackOut on this level..forget his !! the POST method, only the POST method ;) !!

@andrewtx If you don’t understand what you’re reading then maybe focus on how browsers communicate with servers and how webpages are created before you start attacking them.
Go this path and you’ll learn about http, post, get. html within that.

As for PHP, this is a programming language and something else entirely, so don’t get them confused :)

but what now how do i start up tamper data?

you can use the POST method @andrewtx and also there is no need for fire fox i used chrome and got past the challenge. it took me twenty days but i figured it out,,,, its what this website is about, exploring all the different methods of exploitation and lots of trial and error!!

haha once you figure it out,, you will laugh your ass off on how easy it actually is…..but i did go and complete a couple other levels before i came back to finish this one.

its all about how your write your post out, if you do it incorrectly it wont change any thing it may addd something to the page!
but if you have the right format and right address the level will complete itself. its about having the correct info in your POST that you write….
if you dont understand PM me and maybe i cna explain it better for you @andrewtx
