A very late introduction
After registering here around 4 years ago, I thought that it was time to introduce myself. I am an almost 50 Integration and Test Engineer who works for an American Company that makes missiles and radars. Unfortunately, they don’t let me play in that area, I am stuck working on kinder and gentler things like toll highway equipment. I love challenge sites, and after teaching myself how to reverse engineer software, I became addicted very quickly.
After my two children were born, and my wife wondering wtf I was doing on the computer all the time, I decided that it was time to dial back challenge solving.
I still love learning about the craft (especially cracking), and am amazed at how many really, really smart people there are out there!
Thanks for the site!

Well @dalfor I would say welcome to the site but I won’t for 3 reasons.
You joined before me so you should be welcoming me to the site :P
We talk daily anyway so I can just tell you on skype/irc
I really don’t like you :)
Seriously though, good work on the intro (and on solving all the challenges here) :D

If you make people think they’re thinking, they’ll love you. but if you really make them think, they’ll hate you.

Aw that was rude @sabretooth .A very warm welcome @dalfor to HT. I liked your work man, really interesting and at the same time felt bad for your current position. Hope you’ll get to what like. :)

Its good to be back! :D
Nice to see another engineer on the site @dalfor, even though i’m not an engineer yet but studying for it and hopefully will become one.
My question is, are there a lot of engineers on this site?

I think @Abhi_hacker is one or studying as one, but I may be wrong :)
Welcome (back) to HackThis!!, @dalfor . Your introduction reminds me that I have never introduced myself. Well, maybe 4 - 5 years later. :D

Yup…you’re right @sabretooth , I am studying to be an engineer . :)
Anyways , hope you’re having fun in HT @dalfor cause you have been here even before I joined. ;)
@xzy123prog : An Electrical Engineer , to be precise. ;)
Cool :) Well , they say that an electrical engineer takes up the job where mechanical engineer hands it. That is , they usually work in coordination ; )

Yeah, I think that is usually the case, the bigger the project the more engineers work on it, this also means more engineers from different areas work on the project.
It can also be viewed as mechanical engineers build the weapons, electrical engineers control them and civil engineers build the targets. :P
