So I developed this one for HackThis!! This is pure steganography, not crypt, but perhaps this is the closest category fit :)
Not too difficult, but something a little different.
Have fun.
Is this one as twisted as Crypt 7? Because I’m still struggling to complete that one.
Thanks for the new level sabre :)

@IAmDevil Only one user has solved so far and it is not jayssj11.
The chess board actually came from a screenshot of a new game at http://www.chess.com/ however this is not important.
I will say however that the fact the image is a chess board is not wholly important. It could be anything :)

Yes
Yay new hints flowing! So there are two images.
Can’t really work on this level ‘cus my extension cord just burnt off so kinda have to wait till tomorrow to get a new one. Weird shit happening. :o

@IAmDevil No real new info here. The official challenge hint tells you there is ‘another half’ :)

…says the user with 90% solved on RevolutionElite :P
Good work @sabretooth! I really hope that HackThis!! will implement more and more levels.
@sabretooth : Is paint/gimp enough to solve this level or should we consider to write some code ?
(Thanks for the level by the way.)

The intended method is that we write some code, however there ‘is’ a method or two which involves no coding :)
Nope, this one is easier
Well, I guess everyone’s different, I found this one to be way twisted than crypt 7 :p.
Good level though.
This could be a spoiler sooo
Should we merge the 2 images and check them with HEX editor for something inside the resulted image?
I Hate Signatures.
Hmm… No it has nothing to do with hex I suppose. We have to do something with the images and merge them in a specific way.
So that’s what I’m confused with, weather I convert them first and then combine them or first combine them and then convert them. :)

will manipulating colors/hue/saturation make something appear? tried it and got close to something that can be readable with more enhancements…
