So, I figured out how to open the disk image, the only issue is that I think either the file is corrupted, or the data isn’t supported.

I opened it using Disk Utility on Mac

The error it pops up with is “No mountable file systems”

Forensics requires more than trying to use the most obvious and standard tools.

At this moment there have been 1011 people who could solve the challenge, so if you encounter something unexpected, it is better to assume you had the wrong expectation instead of posting errors here.
