Why not try coding a python RPG? That is what I do in my spare time, it provides a challenge to my skills as well as increasing my knowledge of python. Why not try? ;)

I would recommend you start on a basic level, try making a text based RPG, then you can slowly move on to pygame and graphics and over a long period of time; to animation and much more.

Lighten up, it’s just a silly joke. The reason I made it is because of how you pose your question.

Do I know python very well? I don’t know. Compared to some I probably do. Compared to others I probably know very little. Do you even need someone who knows python very well? Or do you just need someone that can help you get started or answer some basic questions? Perhaps ask for what you actually need. :)

What about you starting to ask exactly what help you need instead of asking if someone is a python god?

As dloser said, i also really doubt you need a python guru, and bear in mind this is not stackoverflow, if you have some serious programming question you better ask them in another place.
Pkease note also that people are lazy (me at least) and if they don’t see more than a “please help me” they won’t help you.

To finish and in order to come back on the topic, you could go on the website suggested in page one, it’s really nice to practice your python skills. You could also make a full automation of all HTs levels in python and this would at least teach you some basics.

I wouldn’t help you even if you paid me to do it.You have that attitude that suggested that people need/must help you just because you asked.You tell them to stop being lazy and help you.They will ONLY help you if they want,period.THey are by no means obligated to help you just because you asked!

Well there are lots and lots of people.Most of them would not even tell you anything for free,and the rest, most likely don’t have the time to tutor you.So I would suggest reading a book on Python.I am sure that the author knows Python very well.

Perhaps you shouldn’t be searching for someone to help you with Python, but a mentor in social interactions. Just a polite suggestion.

You say you are sorry that you “slipped out a bit”, yet you continue to respond in a similar fashion. You accuse me of spamming, but instead of just ignoring or reporting it, you only make it worse with your own posts. Both because your own posts add nothing that is on-topic and because they only result in another reaction from me (and others too, now) .

Another tip for you: try to read more carefully and keep in mind the context. Part of your anger seems the result of not really getting the point. Like in your response to @stefanking56 which suggest you simply ignore half of what has been said.

andrewtx, i’m curious. Got any further on pythonchallenge.com? It was my first experience with python and i think it’s an entertaining start.
