Here’s a nice little “article” you’ll get plenty of laughs over:

Oh my but this is outdated!
…trusted and responsible Internet Service Providers, such as AOL…
…requested a new “processor” from a company called “AMD”…
…Quake…
…BSD, Lunix, Debian and Mandrake are all versions of an illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos…
If my son was using Linux I would give him a medal!

Nice article for a look at old times however :)

Here’s another golden oldie that is difficult to know if it’s serious or not…

It took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out it was not serious, but I still don’t get the humor in it - all I see is misleading propaganda.

This is funny. This isn’t a list on how to tell if someone is a hacker. This list is a list someone who uses their computer/gamer. I would be shocked if someone took this serious. Even more so, since this was wrote back in Dec 2001.
3. Has your child asked for new hardware?

Computer hackers are often limited by conventional computer hardware. They may request “faster” video cards, and larger hard drives, or even more memory.

 1. Does your son use Quake?

Quake is an online virtual reality used by hackers.
