is there any chance to add target=“new” if u post a link in the forum same on the profile -> website. I think is a pain in the ass when u click on a link that u leaving hackthis. Is it just me ? //thanks

Maybe a sub-option in settings,
Check box
[?] Open links in new tab
[?] open links in a new window

in my opinion people won’t use the new window, only the new tab.

ya that will be better maybe ppl dont like new way so if it become as Hunon said check box thats better

True, right click with a mouse and “open with tab”

But still a neat feature when you accidentally click on it and take away attention.

All I’m saying that even without the settings, you can be in control on how you can open the links, in new tabs or within the one you are currently using…

I agree with @daMage on this topic. I instinctively hold ctrl when I click on a link I want to open in a new tab. Although tabs opening in the same window by default is not desirable for some, opening them in a new tab will be equally frustrating for others. The idea of having a dedicated setting will not be pleasant to implement and would make everything more complicated. Also the option will not be used by 99% of members.
