How much time do you spend on your computer?

So my friends and family keep telling me sitting at my computer all the time is bad for me. I just wondered what other tech enthusiasts think about it, whats your routine…

“Researchers at the University of Gothenburg found that those who constantly use a computer or their mobile phone can develop stress, sleeping disorders and depression.” (daily mail) It’s believed that many people are actually addicted to computers and/or the internet.

[h2]Here’s my routine…

none college days - wake up, start up my Laptop while having breakfast, spend all day most days either working on a project or browsing the internet…

College days - get up go to college spend all day working with computers…

i spend most nights surfing and/or working on a project…

i go to bed around 2am-4am…

Do I Have A Problem? .lol.

On weekdays, I wake up at 5am check my emails, check hackthis
Eat breakfast, go to work
Come home at 4pm
Sit in front of the computer until 7. eat dinner,
Bed at 9pm.

Weekends,
Wake up 8am, Pc turned on, half an hour later. Breakfast.
Then PC until lunch, eat lunch. PC until dinner. Bed at 1am.

Holidays,
PC all day
For about 14-16 hours with 4x5-7 minute breaks for toilet, food, oxygen.

Yes, I am laughed at for being pathetic and spending my life with computers.
No I don’t feel I am wasting my life, I feel like I’m living a life.

I don’t smoke, I don’t do drugs, nor alcohol.

I am a nerd.

LMAO @Hunon yep i get called similar names, i also feel each day i become better at what i do, so not wasting my life… however i do smoke weed while surfing lol

iam on computer 16 of hour per day i wake up eatt and open computer then sleep at 6 am :D

Mon-Fri
i use computer 8 to 10 hours coz spend my 4 hours at school
n on weekends all day on computer some tym i take it with me in washroom :P :D

Most of my wake time im online ! 8 hours work todo mon-fri but that’s a must, need the cash to rent and stuff .

i would have to say i am addicted… but i am hardly ever on the computer… i got to school at 8 AM and i get home at around 4 PM. my patents NEVER let me do anything anymore lol

haha.. at this point i practically pick my parents door just to get on and even at that its only for like 30 minutes lol

Being a girl who is surrounded by books, comics, and always on the laptop doesn’t really make my mother very pleased…says I should be out doing cheer-leading and netball! Geeks for the win ^ - ^
