<code> tag expands beyond page's container

The <code> tag is currently using the following style property: white-space: pre. However, when the text is too long, it expands beyond the page’s container. I’d suggest to use white-space: pre-wrap instead.

Example:
This is a very long line----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
